The Director of CJI, Jenny Cafiso, has been appointed to the International Administrative Council of the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) as a co-opted member. The JRS International Director, Fr Peter Balleis SJ, and the four Jesuits forming part of the Council asked Ms Cafiso to join the council in view of her "manifold experience in various agencies such as Development and Peace, JRS International and now as Director of Canadian Jesuits International". Ms Cafiso worked with JRS International as Programmes Officer from 1995 to 2003. Mrs Leslie Anne Knight, Secretary General of Caritas Internationalis, will also join the council as the second co-opted member.
