Programs Vocational Training Farm for the Blind
Shigatse, Tibet Fr. Michael Parent, SJ The rehabilitation and training centre for the blind started in 1998. It provides programmes in Braille, mobility, and daily living, as well as staff and vocational training, and prepares students for integration into professions, regular school, and schools for deaf and blind people. The centre produces Braille educational materials and handicrafts and is engaged in farming and animal husbandry.  Return to All Programs
