Students act towards A JUST FUTURE FOR ALL

Pope Francis has called for a just and more equitable future in a post-COVID world, urging for “just sharing among nations and their institutions in order to confront the current crisis in a manner marked by solidarity.”

Canadian Jesuits International (CJI) responded to Pope Francis's call by launching A Just Future for All in the fall of 2020. This campaign highlighted the work of our Jesuit partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America who address the inequalities and societal cracks exposed by COVID-19. As part of this initiative, we highlighted 19 concrete steps that we can all undertake to achieve this goal.

CJI also engaged students from various schools to participate in this campaign. They responded to the call for a just and more equitable future by having their voices heard. Below are some examples of the actions they have taken.

Alyssa Cordeiro - St Patrick Catholic Secondary School

Amelia Kerr - St Patrick Catholic Secondary School

Meghan George - St Patrick Catholic Secondary School
