CJI visits the Darjeeling Jesuits

Canadian Jesuits International (CJI) Executive Director Jenny Cafiso and Program Coordinator Juan Emilio Hernandez met with the Jesuits of the Darjeeling Province during their visit to India and Nepal April 11 to May 1, 2023.

Cafiso and Hernandez traveled to New Delhi, Bagdogra, Darjeeling, and Kalimpong, to visit Jesuit partners, whose projects are receiving support from CJI, as well as other Jesuit institutions.

They met with representatives from the Indian Social Institute, Lok Manch, Human Life Development and Research Centre, Jesu Ashram, Loyola Pastoral Care, Jesu Niketan, St. Vincent’s High School, St. Peter’s School Gayaganga, and the Jesuit Provincial and treasurer.
