“This vigil has been prepared as a moment of prayer and spiritual accompaniment, bringing together the Society, our partners, and friends from around the world in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and all those responding to this crisis. The prayer service will include the participation of the Provincial of Venezuela, together with representatives from Fe y Alegría, JRS, and other Jesuit works involved in the emergency response, as well as testimonies, prayers, Scripture, and music from different parts of the world…Beyond fundraising and operational support, moments like this remind us that we are one apostolic body, accompanying one another not only through our work but also through prayer. We hope this vigil can become a shared expression of that communion and a tangible sign of closeness to the Jesuit Province of Venezuela and to all those whose lives have been affected by this tragedy.”
