The smiling faces of the students at St. Peter’s Primary School in Gayaganga, India, say it all.
With your donations, Canadian Jesuits International (CJI) helped the Jesuit-run school repair the corridors and floors of six classrooms, renovate badly damaged walls and replace old furniture. These improvements have created a more conducive atmosphere for students and teachers.
“The students and staff are extremely grateful to the donors and CJI for their kindness,” said a report from Fr Joseph Victor Pitchai, Treasurer and Development Director of the Jesuit Province of Darjeeling. The changes in the classrooms and facilities have improved the performance of the students, he added.
